In 2000 of September, I had the pleasure of discovering a passion within myself. I would ride the bi-state back and forward to City Photo. City Photo was a used camera store located on South Hamilton in the city of Saint Louis Missouri. I purchased my first Minolta film camera. There was no looking on the back of the camera to see the image after you take it, NO off to Walgreens 1-hour photo lab so that I can see absolutely nothing LOL. Because this was the beginning of a journey for me, I had no idea what I was doing. I walked back and forward to Walgreens for several days hoping to see some sort of image from my shots. I went through rolls and rolls of film trying to get it right. I enrolled in a online photography class and starting reading the books they were sending me, taking the exams, also I continue to practice taking photos of my children. It wasn’t long before I started to turn my attention to the light…………. I started to open the lens more, I stop being so tight with the light. Things started to happen, so much to the point where they were too bright. Now today I feel as though I can create any image you request.
